What You’ll Learn
- Entry-level Business Management workers carry out activities in a wide variety of business functions within local, national, and global settings demonstrating a practical understanding of key principles and practices necessary for success in the field of business.
- Graduates of the Business program are employed in a broad range employment settings in all sectors of business and industry, both domestic and international, including manufacturers, retailers, financial institutions, government offices, consulting firms, and other large and small businesses.
- In this program, students will learn a range of fundamental knowledge and skills in the areas such as finance, accounting, human resources, operations management, marketing, sales, information and communication technology.
- You will use this functional knowledge in many areas of an organization to achieve strategies within cross-functional teams while working with an ethical, legal and socially responsible manner.
- This program is general in nature and is designed to provide a wide choice of career opportunities. It represents a base upon which to continue further education if desired.

Prerequisites
If you attended a post-secondary institution after high school, we need both your high school transcript and your post-secondary transcript.
- Entry into many of our programs is competitive and your post-secondary marks can strengthen your application.
- If you did not graduate from high school and have a GED, send us a copy.
- Even if you graduated a while ago, we still need your high school transcript.
- If you cannot obtain it, let us know and we can discuss your options.
- If you studied at college or university, you must submit your post-secondary transcript AND
your high-school transcript. This may strengthen your application.
